has someone an elegant soloution to ask the the if he wants to save his changes when he changes the tag/page? Maybe plus adding generic apply/discard buttons?

It is probably beyond the scope of MultiplePageDialog. I would consider using some 3rd party binding framework esp. the one from JSR 295.
