overlapped DocumentPanes

Postby chandrajeet » Wed Jul 18, 2007 11:30 am

Hi,

How can I have multiple DocumentPanes overlapped inside the workspace in a scenario as I sent in an email to you?

I am trying to show different statistics for few of the services running on few different servers.
So eg,
I have to show statistics like “Thread Usage”, “Memory Usage”, “CPU Usage”, “Admin Operations” for 5 different services on SERVER1/SERVER2/SERVER3 separately for each service.

Thanks

Why not just create DocumentPane three times and add them to another JideTabbedPane?

Don't you think it will make it clamzy?
Per server/ 5 services, per service/4 tabs.
That makes 100 tabs for 5 servers, grouped in different DocPanes... :D

Is there any other good approach in DocPanes?

I guess it's really up to you how you plan to design it.
