Hi,
In thunderbird (Mozilla email-client) there is also something linke a QuickTableFilterField (upper right corner). If a special column for filtering is selected, then this column is written with a light gray color in it. After clicking in the field (to enter a filter string) the text of corse disapear.

Hi, its me again.
I saw some other thing with the QuickTableFilterField:
If its disabled, the filterbutton can still be pressed, means the popup-menu does apear. Does this make sens? If yes, it would be nice if there is or will be a way do disable it. Thanks
