hi whats about a StyledMultilineTableCellRenderer ?

The problem is we tried to avoid multiple line feature in StyledLabel component to keep StyledLabel simple, fast and easy to use. This rules out StyledLabel to be the base component for StyledMultilineTableCellRenderer. The next candidate is JTextPane or JEditorPane. I haven't tried to use it in JTable as renderer before. Have you?

MultilineTableCellRenderer ? yes. we have used it.

I thought when you said StyledMultilineTableCellRenderer, you mean the text can have different style and color. Is it right? MultilineTableCellRenderer supports multiple line but only one text style because it's based on JTextArea.
