Linux Themes

Postby blades678 » Fri Oct 08, 2010 8:21 am

I really like that Windows Themes shows the active panel by highlighting it. Unfortunately, when we run on Linux and Mac OS, it's difficult to tell what dockable frame has focus b/c the highlighting of the active frame is not implemented for the theme. Therefore, is there a way to enable Windows Themes on Linux and Mac? Or do you have any plans on implementing the active frame highlight for these OSes?

I don't think it is possible to use Windows theme on Linux or OS. But for Linux, I suggest you use Plastic3D L&F from JGoodies along with Xerto style from JIDE. For Mac OS X, you probably should stay with Aqua L&F as it is right now. Mac users don't like orange highlight as Windows has.
