What is the minimum jdk/jre requirement for using jide-oss-2.8.4 ?

One of the users got exception while using the following configuration.

Java Web Start 1.6.0_18
Using JRE version 1.5.0_13-b05 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM

Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/jidesoft/swing/JideButton
at com.companyname.apps.tools.ui.widget.exttable.DualListColumnVisibilityDialog.jbInit(DualListColumnVisibilityDialog.java:98)
at com.companyname.apps.tools.ui.widget.exttable.DualListColumnVisibilityDialog.<init>(DualListColumnVisibilityDialog.java:47)
at com.companyname.apps.tools.ui.widget.exttable.PopupMenu$6.actionPerformed(PopupMenu.java:167)

JDK5 is the minimum. I think the error you are getting is probably your configuration issue. NoClassDefFoundError means JideButton is not in your class path during runtime.

thx. the real reason of course was " somehow the old jnlp was being cached and that doesn’t include the jide download line." !!
