JIDE Common Layer components License

Hi,
I am a newbie. After reading the GNU license agreement I am still confused. I also read forum entries.
I just purchased the JIDE ULTIMATE SUITE.

Here is my question:
If my commercial applications use the JIDE Common Layer components, am I exposing my commercial applications to GNU guidelines?
Must I make my application available for free to anyone who wants it? Can my application be freely copied and distributed by anyone?

I am very sorry for asking this question(I know it has probably been rehashed a thousand times), but before I start using JIDE in my commercial application I need know.

Since you purchased JIDE Ultimate Suite, it is the commercial license that applies to your case which has nothing to do with GPL. The commercial license term is at http://www.jidesoft.com/purchase/SLA.htm.
