Problem in using JideSplitButton in place of JideColorSplitB

Postby RajaRajeswari_V » Tue May 05, 2009 12:47 am

Hi,

I have a problem in using JideSplitButton in place of JideColorSplitButton.
while using the earlier versions of jide, we used CommandBarFactory and createColorButton of this class.
Now for using the latest jide jars im using the evaluation version of jide as our license got expired(we are in the process of getting it renewed)
While using the evaluation version , in the latest Jars looks like createColorButton is not supported which returns a jideColorSplitButton. instead im using createSplitButton which returns a JideSplitButton.
Due to this im not able to use the functionalities of color buttons. We are basically using this in a format toolbar in out application , where we can change the fill color, text color, line color etc as in any office tools.

Now my question is .. is this happening because im using evaluation version of jide? will it be resolved once i get the license?

If no ..please advice me on how to fix this problem

Thanks
Rajeswari

Please don't use CommandBarFactory. It is really meant only used by our demo, not a public API. Please use your own code to create those buttons/menus etc.
