Pivottable: Save layout with autofilter

Postby DennisS » Thu Sep 22, 2011 8:58 am

Hi,

I use the save method in PivotTablePersistenceUtils to save the layout of a pivot table, but it doesn't save the auto filter (I mean the filter you can enable via PivotTablePane.setRowFieldFilterable(boolean enable) to get this combobox in the fields). So I tried saving it on my own. The problem is, I don't know how to get the current active filter for a pivot field.

Please help me.

Thanks in advance.

Please try to invoke PivotField#getSelectedPossibleValues(), PivotField#getFilteredPossibleValues(), PivotField#getFilter() to get the filters.

Hi,

PivotField#getSelectedPossibleValues(), PivotField#getFilteredPossibleValues() and PivotField#getFilter() always return null.

It's weird. Can you please share with us a test case to demonstrate the issue? You could use JIDE PivotTableDemo as a start point.
