JTree-AutoCompletion is not reset when selecting no element

Postby lvr » Tue Feb 01, 2011 4:20 pm

Hello,
This is more an observation than a question.
I've installed an AutoCompletion JTextField for a JTree.
For some reasons at certain steps, I set the tree.setSelectionPath(null). I expected to have my textfield reflecting this change by displaying an empty string.
This is not the case and to code is very clear about that: this case is not handled (AutoCompletion.java, line 196).
Is there a reason for that ?
Regards,
Laurent
