Dumb licence-related question

Postby sielver » Tue Sep 09, 2008 11:18 am

So I'm totally clueless when it comes to licences and stuff. My question is extremely simple: is it OK to use the Common Layer in a commercial application? And if so, what are the conditions (except including both licences when packaging the app, I guess)?

Thanks.

Of course. For the open source license, we used the same license term as OpenJDK is using. So if you will use OpenJDK in your application, you can use JCL. However, all we can do is to tell you that we allow you to use JCL in a commercial application. Whether you decide to use it, it depends on your discussion with your legal department.
